Bataille
Solaire is a band that exists in Robot Space.
Their album, “Documentaires”, was recorded on their home planet, which
best translates to you as being “Earth Number 9”, and then sent here to be
distributed by Constellation Tatsu.
Within
their outer space sound comes some rocking guitar riffs as well as what we here
would call experimental electronic noise.
It could be ambient, but it could just be how things sound in space
compared to on Earth here.
Some of
these songs seem to go by quickly, but as the album progresses the songs also
lengthen. I was informed through a bit
of Google research though that this was done because Bataille Solaire has a
different measurement for time on their planet.
Toward
the end we do get some beats and overall this album could be the soundtrack to
Buckaroo Banzai, Pitch Black or something that hasn’t been invented yet… on
earth.
