MP3 REVIEW: Wintercoats “Heartful”

                It’s hard not to like a band that combines styles and elements of some of your favorite bands.   This starts off sounding like slowed down Consolation Project or MBV, but it does pick up momentum as it goes on.

                I hear bells.  I hear something like pop.   It turns into bands like Pinback, The Rocket Summer and even Work Drugs.    It has that drum machine.   It could be Animal Flag at times.   And of course, you can hear roots to EFS and The Beatles.  

                But regardless of what is in here that makes this all mixed together to form this one sound, it is really good.
