While
five songs might not seem like a lot on paper, the fourth song spans over seven
and a half minutes while the last adds about ten minutes more to that run
time. So, yes, this is what would
appear to be an EP but has the length of some full length albums.
The
music is instrumental, often laced with guitar notes placed in their special
patterns and formations to bring you optimal listening. Throughout the songs though, as the album
progresses, we do pick up a little bit of steam and it can seemingly kick in
(though never too heavy) and you can definitely rock out in a most soothing
way.
At
first I may have written this off as merely being FNL, but by the end I’m
convinced it is closer to an instrumental version of a band like Penfold and
for that I really am into it and just find it to be so beautiful.
