MP3 REVIEW: Space Cops "Holographic Heart" [single]

Space Cops "Holographic Heart" [single]

Musically, this song can have the feel of a 1990’s or 1980’s hip hop song to it.   But then the Peter Frampton vocals come in and it all makes sense.  This borders on new wave and makes me think of Max Modem, Phineas and Ferb Bots, and I’m not sure whether this song came from the movie “Demolition Man” or “Judge Dredd”.

Lyrically, there are some great lines in here.   “I don’t know which program to execute” is something that we all can relate to, am I right?

“Downloading a holographic heart so I can pretend to care”… who hasn’t?

“I once was programmed just to kill until you accessed my free will” – Yeah, we all get a little bit too drunk and order hookers at times.

“With your instruction I’ve learned to function without the use of mass destruction” – And this robot also wants to legalize marijuana.   Awesome robot!

So, in conclusion, I’m sure you will all agree with me that this band or guy is definitely a cylon.
