This begins as a shoegaze band mixed with FNL, only it has a very heavy drum machine part which brings out the sound of a 1980s/90s new wave band. By the time we hit the song “Raccoon” and go on for the rest of the album from there, it’s pretty much straight out Breakfast Club bliss.
