Space Boyfriend “Bug Spray”
This is 8bit with vocals that can tend to sound like Japanese pop or even a 1980s arcade. The songs vary in length, as some can be full length and some are very quick and to the point. This became apparent after I listened to “Watermelon Party” and then seemed to go over “Honeydew” without noticing (“Honeydew” is a total of 26 seconds in length)
With a combination of space, obviously, aliens, mutants, monsters, etc., this album has a very sci-fi feel to it and I’m definitely in love. I also very much appreciate the juxtaposition of the songs “Never Give Up” and “Always Give Up”.
