Slime Girls “Vacation Wasteland EP”
This is 8bit that has a drum machine and can feature a guitar and even keys. The song “Splash Nebula” is almost moog while “Spring Break 199X” has this sort of dub feel to it, like the band is channeling Sublime.
If you need any proof other than my words as to why this is a great 8bit album though (Despite being called an EP, it’s actually ten songs), simply listen to the song “A Cruel Angel Thesis” and be immediately won over.
