Magic Man “Paris” [single]
This song begins with a nice beat and crazy synth. It has a very sort of pop feel to it, so I’d definitely say synth pop for this one. Is this an ode to Paris Hilton? No, I think it’s about the city. It has that feel of Panic at the Disco (when they were good) mixed with something radio friendly like Phoenix. It’s rather upbeat, which can be bad at the wrong time, but if this makes sense (and I don’t watch a lot of television) I could see this song being used in a car commercial. I also must make a comparison to The Black and White Years in here or I’d be mad at myself.
