Kimberly Freeman “Love Songs” [limited single]
This song was posted by One-Eyed Doll on their Band Camp page as an exclusive download for Valentine’s Day 2013. It’s pretty much the best thing that’s ever happened to me (and probably a lot of other people) on this so-called holiday.
The song is basically just Kimberly Freeman’s voice over a ukulele, but obviously that doesn’t imply in any way that it’s your ordinary run of the mill song because of a) Freeman’s most lovely voice and b) The lyrical content. Yes, at one point she does sing about filling her pen with your blood so she can write, which just throws you for a loop if you happen to forget who you’re listening to for a second.
