THE WILD FEATHERS KICK OFF SOUTHERN RESIDENCY TOUR ON JANUARY 28^TH

NASHVILLE BAND PREMIERES VIDEO FOR DEBUT SINGLE "BACKWOODS COMPANY" TODAY VIA FILTER

January 10, 2013 - Burbank, CA - Warner Bros. Records' The Wild Feathers will hit the road on January 28^th for a six-week tour that finds them performing residencies at clubs across the South, including their hometown of Nashville. The band will perform five shows at The Hi-Tone in Memphis, The Nick in Birmingham, AL, and Proud Larry's in Oxford, MS and four at Barley's Taproom in Knoxville, TN, Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta, and The High Watt in Nashville. They will also perform at Duling Hall and the Red Room in Jackson, MS. Please see below for all dates.

The tour is the perfect showcase for this thoroughly American rock and roll band, which melds the four unique voices of Ricky Young, Joel King, Taylor Burns, and Preston Wimberly. The Wild Feathers take inspiration from across the musical spectrum - country, blues, folk and rock - and spin it into a roaring web of warm, cosmic melodies with vintage roots and modern tones. The band are gearing up to release their self-titled debut album this summer, which was produced by Jay Joyce (Cage the Elephant, the Wallflowers, Emmylou Harris).
