photocomfort s/t
On this four song self-titled release, the unknown to me until now band photocomfort has made a fan out of me. While common references come into review here for me, being that this has female vocals, I must look past the Tori Amos and “Evanescence acoustic” thoughts that fill my head.
This band brings in both horns and strings at very appropriate times to offer a very folk pop rock sound. At times, the vocals can be as sultry as Adele or Gwen Stefani whereas at other times I can hear Kimbra, that dog. or Delta Dart coming through.
Overall you just need to know that these are four really fun songs that you can download for free and should make a fan out of you whether or not female vocals play a part in your musical decision making.
