Alien pop artists, Blanche Blanche Blanche, are pleased to announce their 1st album of 2013 for Vermont label, NNA Tapes. Wooden Ball is due March 5th & the duo are sharing their first cut off the album, "Rich Man".
Sarah Smith & Zach Phillips are nonidiomatic songwriters and lyricists raised in the Brattleboro, Vermont. They are in practice of Open Session Rock & since 2010 they've written and recorded seven full length records on multitrack cassette, released on Night People, Feeding Tube, La Station Radar and OSR. Blanche Blanche Blanche both revere and avoid tonal study and attempt wherever psychedelic intervention into new shadow areas of musicality often ignored by those happily occupied with the evocative potential of familiar trope Blanche Blanche Blanche are believers in the paradoxical quality of counterpoint -- the autonomy of single elements mutually guaranteed through their relation -- and the extension of this beyond its traditional application.
