The best way to describe “Cosmic Sound II” is to just classify it under EDM or, a name I prefer more, technotronica. The problem is that these are such vague labels that they don’t really leave a lot of clarity for you to understand what this does sound like.
There are some audio clips in these tracks, though I like to refer to them as subliminal messages for some reason because I always feel like people listen to this kind of music when they’re exercising or something then when they’re done they suddenly want to assassinate Kathy Lee Gifford or something.
From the music stance, you can hear everything in here from current radio stars AWOLNATION (They’re still on the radio, right?) to rap legend Tupac Shakur. (Try and tell me you can’t hear 2Pac rapping over “Inaudible” and I’ll call you a damned liar)
Overall, “Cosmic Sound II” provides music that is good for many occasions- throwing a wild house party, pissing off your neighbors, driving your car with huge ass bass, the aforementioned exercising, blocking out the rest of the world while studying—the list goes on. But really, you should listen to this for the same reason why you would listen to any music: because it is good.
