The Poster Boy “Melody”
The Poster Boy has a rather crisp rock sound that, in terms of other bands, I can really only compare to Superdrag and Smoking Popes, though you can take your obvious Replacements and other various references from there.
Usually, with bands that tend to sound similar to The Poster Boy I find something about them to be drab- whether it be the music itself is just very bland or the lyrics just seem boring to me. The songs on “Melody” are neither boring nor predictable, despite their clean indie rock sound. I actually really like these eight songs and bonus remix.
