One-Eyed Doll “Break”
And we’re back to the rock metal we’ve grown used to from One Eyed Doll. Okay, so maybe it’s not quite the same as Monster in the sense that it lacks that sort of metal/goth quality. The songs don’t necessarily have the same lyrical content either.
Sure, “Beautiful Freak” seems like enough of a song that could off of Monster- at least lyrically- but it has this catchy guitar riff that reminds me of the Weezer song “Hash Pipe”. When faster paced, the songs have a definite Blondie meets L7 quality to them.
