Recently, I’ve been downloading and listening to music like crazy from Band Camp. This is a review of a group of songs by the same band I got from Band Camp- usually it constitutes an EP. This is a song-by-song review and it is never to exceed six songs. At the end, I will tell you the “Recommended Downloading Level”, which means whether or not I think you should spend your time downloading these songs. It’s on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 meaning that you should stop reading my review and download these songs immediately and 1 meaning that if you even think about downloading these songs your computer will be infected with a horrific bad music virus. Enjoy.
Zeale RapZ “Sail Remix”
01: “Sail” [3:32] -- He keeps the original “sail” part, with the background chords, which is nice. There are also still the “la-la-la” parts. Zeale kind of sounds like Andre3000 to me. What goes around comes around, just look at Caesar. Here come some AWOLNATION verse parts, about a.d.d. and what not. Captain Hook, nice. He twists it into a nice story about sailing the sea. I like how the AWOLNATION version had seemingly minimal words, whilst Zeale adds in a much longer story that makes this already fun song just so much more fun.
It’s rather hard for me to tell you not to download one song because it doesn’t take a lot of effort. If you enjoy the original song by AWOLNATION- or even if you don’t- you’ll probably enjoy what Zeale does with it. More importantly, this will give you a sort of familiar way of hearing something new if it’s your first time hearing Zeale. Otherwise, you know, if you’re already a fan then why are you waiting for my permission?
Recommended Downloading Level: 4/5
