MP3 REVIEW: Girl 27 / Trisha Hewe Saile split

This is a split between Girl 27 and Trisha Hewe Saile and as far as I can tell it hasn’t been released on cassette, but it really should be.

The Girl 27 portion of this endeavor begins with a glassy sound.   It’s a minimal sort of Transformers sound, and there are waves that almost sound like dolphins.   There are these eerie background and it radiates with a reverb vibe, so I’m not entirely sure what this setting is exactly but I can guess that humanity has lost control of the planet.

Trisha Hewe Saile brings out some more of this haunting and eerie vibe as somewhat of an extension of Girl 27 in ways.    There are static ghosts and it does get heavier here as well.   By the end, you get this X-Files sort of vibe and I’m really digging this one.

I want to listen to this on cassette, in the dark in the middle of the woods.   Bring it on, society.
