SPOTIFY REVIEW: Islands “Ski Mask”

             I began listening to “Ski Mask” pretty certain that I had reviewed Islands before, but I couldn’t remember anything about them which is never a good sign.  I heard a combination of Superdrag mixed with some psychedelic rock and thought it was all right but not great.

            As I looked back to the archives I found that not only did I review 2012’s “A Sleep and A Forgetting”, but that I called it boring 1960’s rock.   This go around I’m not as bored, so they’ve got that going for them in the sense that they are improving to some extent, but I am also not really impressed.
