The Echelon Effect “Your First Light (My Eventide)” [single]
I got this song as a free download from the band for following them on Twitter. I hope I got the specifics of the title correct because it came out with all underscores and no spacing in the MP3 file.
This starts off with pianos and then gets tribal sounding, like something out of the Lion King soundtrack, which is not at all bad. And it ends on somewhat of a post rock note. I could definitely make sense of this band being signed to Deep Elm.
