Country Death “Anna’s Opera”
I can barely hear any music in the background, though I know some is there, but this is basically some guy telling stories that are… interesting. At some point in my life I might have been in the mood for this, but right now I just don’t appreciate being told that some successful guy’s new car runs on my failures. I understand the whole spoken word poetry and how this could even be linked to someone like Jim Carroll but at least Jim Carroll had the decency to sing in his band. Sure, they can get points for being different, but that’s about all the points they’ll get. I can’t listen to this.
